Our Lucky Prizewinners

At Seattle Weekly, we believe in reciprocity. If you were willing to fill out our Best of Seattle ballot, the least we could do is reward you with something. Something wonderful. So we're proud to announce the four lucky winners in our 2003 Best of Seattle drawing. (Anyone who answered at least 10 ballot questions was eligible.) And the winners are: GRAND-PRIZE WINNER T.J. LUCAS will receive two opening-night tickets to 21 Dog Years at the Intiman Theater, dinner for two at a Tom Douglas restaurant (Palace Kitchen, Etta's Seafood, or Dahlia Lounge), a special Best of Seattle coffee mug filled with treats, and a bona fide Seattle Weekly T-shirtthe kind real Weekly staffers wear! T.J.'s choice for best happy hour was Contour, his favorite bowling alley is Garage Bowl on Capitol Hill, and his favorite neighborhood is Lower Queen Anne. Congratulations, T.J.! SECOND-PRIZE WINNER PETER CHO will receive dinner for two at the Sitting Room, plus the Best of Seattle mug and SW T-shirt. We don't know much about Peter, but we do know he lives in Ravenna. Congratulations, Peter! THIRD-PRIZE WINNERS DANIELLE BURNS and BILL KENNEDY will receive Best of Seattle mugs and SW T-shirts. Danielle works at KISS 106.1 FM, loves Jai Thai's pho, and thinks Shawn Telford is the best cabbie in Seattle. Bill, when asked to comment on his contest win, remarked: "I've never won anything!" He then added: "Does the mug have the keys to a new car in it?" Good one, Bill. Congratulations to you and Danielle! And thanks to all of our Best of Seattle voters for playing! Your vote obviously does make a differenceand it can pay delightful dividends to boot. info@seattleweekly.com
