Dear Hungry & Thirsty, I have a great desire to hold a dinner party where all the food is naturally blue. With potatoes, cheese, and corn tortillas all available in varying shades of blue, this should be easy. But what to do for an entr饿 Oh Hungry & Thirsty, please help! Got the Blues Hungry replies: That's a toughy, that is. There are certain species of tropical fish whose flesh is pale blue when raw, but once cooked the delicate azure disappears. Raw kidneys, too, often have an opalescent blue aura, but you may not want to test your guests quite that far. Perhaps your best bet would be to saut頣alf's liver ever so lightly and serve drizzled with huckleberry coulis. You might also consider slipping an ultraviolet bulb into the ceiling fixture, but you'd probably consider that cheating. Thirsty replies: Oh, blue person! Give us a harder question! Of course your entr饠would obviously be blueberry pie! You can watch the scary part regarding blueberries in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory while you dine! Can I come to your blue dinner please! You seem nice! hungry&thirsty@seattleweekly.com
